Our vote to authorize a strike comes after workers documented multiple instances of the company’s actions that undermine negotiations and violate our right to representation.
UFCW 770 and the other Southern California Locals filed Unfair Labor Practice (ULP) charges against Ralphs with the federal government’s National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) for violating labor laws by surveilling, intimidating, and interfering with employees for engaging in union activity.
The UFCW Locals also filed legal charges against Albertsons/Vons/Pavilions for refusing to disclose the information requested in order to bargain your contracts.
We cannot continue to negotiate the contract we deserve while the companies break the law.
We are urging all Ralphs, Vons, Albertsons, and Pavilions Pharmacists to VOTE YES to authorize a ULP strike.
