As a Rite Aid member, you have a guarantee of hours and do not have to use your own personal time such as vacation, personal days, or sick days to secure those guaranteed hours. Those guarantees work in the following ways based on your Full Time/Part Time status, how long you have been with Rite Aid, and your availability.

Full Time Guaranteed Hours = 5 days (8-hour shifts)

Part Time Guaranteed Hours if you have been employed for more than 6 months= 24 hours if you have no restrictions
Part Time Guaranteed Hours if you have been employed less than 6 months = 12 hours guaranteed

If you are not getting the hours you are guaranteed, contact your Union Representative to file a grievance immediately.

Also, If your manager is scheduling your vacation, they must give you 4 weeks’ advanced notice. Please contact your Union Representative if this is not happening.
