CONGRATULATIONS!
Your new Stater Bros. contract has been ratified!

4/9/22

Your new 3-year agreement with Stater Bros. has been ratified by you and your fellow co-workers and goes into effect starting today, April 9, 2022.

After more than two years of risking your lives to serve California’s communities as essential workers, and because of your solidarity and commitment to fighting for the contract you deserve, your new contract includes:

  • Significant wage increases
  • Guaranteed minimum hours
  • Healthcare improvements
  • Protected pension

While the pandemic and its deadly impact may not be over, your solidarity, the tireless advocacy of your bargaining committee, and the outpouring of support from your customers and communities have proven it is possible to secure a fair deal when we have each other’s backs.

By ratifying this contract, you have not only secured the raises you deserve, better healthcare, and protected pension over the next three years, but you have set the benchmark for generations of essential California grocery workers for years to come. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your steward or union rep.

Thank you for allowing us to represent you and help fight for the better wages and benefits you have earned.

Your hard work and dedication to standing together has resulted in a tentative agreement for a new contract with Stater Bros.

Now it’s up to you to make the ultimate decision whether to accept the terms of this historic agreement. Please stand by for information on voting and details of the offer.

Your vote is your voice. This contract is not finalized until you say it is, so please be on the lookout for more information over the next few days.

In the meantime, if you have any questions, please reach out to your union rep. or shop steward.

We met with Stater Bros. on Thursday, March 24, and Friday, March 25, and while there has been productive dialogue on a fair contract, there is still more work to be done. We will keep you updated as negotiations continue.

In the meantime, we want to thank you for the strength and solidarity you have shown over these past few months. You deserve a contract with meaningful wage increases, generous benefits, and strong protections.

Please make sure you are talking with your co-workers about the importance of standing strong and united for a fair contract.
