Both Kroger and Albertsons/Vons have committed to prevent overcrowding in their stores but we know that they are not enforcing this rule consistently. By leaving the enforcement up to the store managers, we know it is not getting done.

We are asking you to please send photos whenever your store is crowded beyond what’s safe so we can show the company the results of leaving this important policy to the store manager’s discretion.

Please share these photos with us so we can forward to the company.

An agreement has been reached with our FOOD Trust Fund, to extend benefit eligibility for union grocery workers who lose eligibility due to insufficient hours worked and who are receiving unemployment insurance or state disability benefits for reasons directly related to the current Coronavirus pandemic. This benefit eligibility extension will be in effect until the end of June but may be extended.
