Food 4 Less Bargaining Update| June 25, 2024
Tentative Agreement Reached on our Food 4 Less / Foods Co. Contract
We have reached a tentative agreement with Food 4 Less / Foods Co. For the past three months, we have been fighting hard for a fair contract – from actions, delegations, rallies, petitions, and conversations with our co-workers and customers, we have shown the strength that comes when workers stand together for a better life.
After months of intense bargaining, we have finally secured a tentative agreement that we want to share with you. We believe that this agreement meets our needs and delivers us the wages, hours, and protections we deserve, but nothing is final until we all have a chance to review and vote on it.
This tentative agreement would not have been possible without the strength we showed during the bargaining process. We stood up to the company’s unfair labor practices and showed them we were willing to fight for the contract we deserved.
Our solidarity and victory here sends a message to workers everywhere– when we fight, we win.

Remember, this is a tentative agreement. It is not final until you vote to accept it.
You will have a chance to read through the deal and have your questions answered before you vote. We will be scheduling vote days, times, and locations shortly, so please look out for updates from your Local union.

Se Logra Acuerdo Tentativo de Nuestro Contrato con Food 4 Less / Foods Co.
Hemos logrado un acuerdo tentativo con Food 4 Less / Foods Co. En los últimos tres meses hemos estado luchando duro por un contrato justo –desde las acciones, delegaciones, manifestaciones, peticiones y conversaciones con nuestros compañeros de trabajo y clientes, hemos demostrado la fuerza que se logra cuando los trabajadores luchan unidos por una vida mejor.
Después de meses de intensa negociación, finalmente hemos asegurado un acuerdo tentativo que queremos compartir contigo. Creemos que este acuerdo cumple nuestras necesidades y nos da los sueldos, horas y protecciones que merecemos pero nada es definitivo hasta que todos tengamos una oportunidad de revisarlo y votar.
Este acuerdo tentativo no hubiera sido posible sin la fuerza que mostramos durante el proceso de negociaciones. Nosotros nos opusimos a las prácticas laborales injustas de la compañía y les demostramos que estábamos dispuestos a luchar por el contrato que merecemos.
