CVS Bargaining Update # 8
CVS Negotiations|October 16, 2024
Yesterday and into this morning, we met with CVS and, once again, the company made insufficient movement on wages, no movement on healthcare, and no movement on the safety protections we need to do our jobs, serve our customers and communities, and feed our families. Meanwhile, they continue to retaliate against us and intimidate us with multiple unfair labor practices.
Enough is enough. It’s time to take action.
In the coming hours we will be declaring an UNFAIR LABOR PRACTICE STRIKE over their unlawful surveillance of workers, retaliation for union activity, and blocking us from talking to our Union Representatives, which is not only illegal, but designed to intimidate us into accepting an insulting offer that is far less than we deserve.
DO NOT WALK OFF THE JOB UNTIL YOU HAVE BEEN INFORMED BY AN OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE OF OUR UNION THAT YOUR STORE IS ON STRIKE.
Continue to go to work according to your work schedule until an official representative of the union notifies you that a strike impacting your store has started. It’s very important to stay in touch with your steward and union rep who will be communicating information to members in the stores about actions and next steps in real time.
We need to all band together in solidarity to make these actions as effective as possible. Whether you work at a struck store or not, here’s how you can support our ULP strike:

Join the line at a struck store nearest you in your time off.
Follow us on social media for the latest information and to find out where a ULP strike is taking place.

Actualización de Negociaciones con CVS # 8
Ayer y hasta esta mañana nos reunimos con CVS y una vez más, la compañía hizo movimientos insuficientes respecto a sueldos y ningún movimiento en relación a las protecciones de seguridad que necesitamos para hacer nuestros trabajos, servir a nuestros clientes y comunidades y alimentar a nuestras familias.
Mientras tanto, la compañía sigue tomando represalias contra nosotros e intimidándonos con numerosas prácticas laborales injustas.
¡Ya basta! Es tiempo de tomar acción.
En los próximas horas nosotros vamos a declarar una HUELGA POR PRÁCTICAS LABORALES INJUSTAS en protesta por la vigilancia ilegal de trabajadores, represalias por actividades de Unión y por bloquearnos para no poder comunicarnos con nuestros representantes de la Unión, lo cuál no solamente es ilegal sino que está diseñado para intimidarnos para aceptar una oferta insultante que es mucho menos de lo que merecemos.
NO SALGAS DEL TRABAJO HASTA QUE SEAS INFORMADO POR UN REPRESENTANTE OFICIAL DE NUESTRA UNIÓN DE QUE TU TIENDA ESTÁ EN HUELGA.
Continúa yendo a trabajar de acuerdo a tu horario de trabajo hasta que un representante oficial de la Unión te notifique/avise que una huelga que impacta tu tienda ha comenzado. Es muy importante que te mantengas en comunicación con tu delegado y representante de la unión quienes estarán comunicando información a los miembros en las tiendas sobre acciones y los próximos pasos a seguir, en tiempo real.
Necesitamos unirnos todos en solidaridad para hacer que estas acciones sean lo más efectivas que se pueda. Ya sea que trabajes en una tienda en la que estaremos en huelga o no, las siguientes son algunas maneras en que tú puedes apoyar nuestra huelga por prácticas laborales injustas (ULP):
Asegúrate que tengamos tu número de teléfono y correo electrónico actualizados para que puedas recibir las actualizaciones sobre la huelga por ULP en CVS en tiempo real.
Únete a la línea de piquete en la tienda más cercana que esté en huelga, durante tu tiempo libre.
